Our Taino Land thanks the Municipal Assembly
of Las Piedras for giving us the opportunity to present
our petition for
indigenous status.

Our Taino Land presentation in the Municipal Assembly
of Las Piedras. Our Taino Land is soliciting a special ordnance

declaring it an indigenous organization.

As part of the Municipal Session, Our Taino Land
presented evidence of the destruction caused by
developers of the
Portales residential project. In its wake,
the development project destroyed a great part of the Guaracibaku
Cave System and its associated archeological sites.
