our petition for indigenous status.

declaring it an indigenous organization.
As part of the Municipal Session, Our Taino Landpresented evidence of the destruction caused by
developers of the Portales residential project. In its wake,
the development project destroyed a great part of the Guaracibaku
Cave System and its associated archeological sites.

Our Taino Land has been actively involved in the protection and management of the cultural and natural heritage
of Las Piedras and the southeastern region.
